Expand your knitting skills by learning to knit in the round! This two session class will teach you to cast on in the round using 16" circular needles, how to decrease the top of your hat, switch to Double Point needles for small circumference knitting, and if time allows, to fancy it up with a pom pom. In this class, you'll be making a simple 2 x 2 Ribbed Hat- using Outback Chunky, a soft chunky yarn, which will work up super quickly and makes a super warm hat! At the end of the class you'll have a great new hat and a bunch of new skills to show off to all your knitting friends.

Skills Required: In order to get the best experience out of this class you must be comfortable with both the knit and purl stitch, casting on and binding off. This class is designed for knitters who have completed a couple of projects such as scarves, etc.

Materials Included: Outback Chunky (your choice of colours), 6mm 16" bamboo circular needles, 6mm double point needles. Notions (stitch marker, cable needles, tapestry needles) will be supplied to use during the class.
