Tiny Sweater Ornament - Guided Knitalong
The holiday season is here, and this is the time to knit and be festive! We're hosting a Guided Mini Sweater Ornament Knitalong. Join us for a morning of friends and food, knitting and fun!
For this festive knitalong, we will provide non-alcoholic (maybe some alcoholic..) beverages, and a great selection of snacks.
This knitalong is open to all knitters who are already comfortable with small circumference knitting (like socks and mitts) using either dpns or a long circular needle. If you're a proficient knitter, just come for the snackas and company, but if you need a little help knitting your mini sweater, we'll have two instructors to help you along the way.
Materials Provided: We will provide a pattern, a selection of fingering weight yarns from our private Handknit stash, try-it-on cord for holding live sleeve stitches, mini stitch markers, mini coat hangers, darning needles and scissors.
Materials Required: Knitting needles are not included. You will need to bring needles of your choice for small circumference knitting- either double point needles or 32" circulars for Magic Loop method. Size 2.25 - 3mm.
Skills Required: Participants MUST be able to cast on, knit and purl, and be familiar with small circumference knitting on either DPNs or long circular magic loop method. We will not be teaching how to knit, or how to use dpns/magic loop or joining in the round.
