Advanced Sock Technique: Heel Turns

Find a heel turn you like best to make the perfect pair of socks for you! In this three hour class we will explore several different ways to turn a heel, and the sock knitting method associated with each heel turn.
If you wish to bring any sock projects in progress, you can use your existing project to try one our the heel turn techniques, or we will simply work a few rounds before exploring each heel turn.
Class Prerequisite: You must be comfortable with casting on and binding off, the knit stitch and purl stitch. You must have knit at least one pair of socks already (using any method), and be comfortable understanding a sock knitting pattern.
Materials Required: Please bring some DK or worsted wieight yarn (does not need to be sock yarn), and corresponding needle size in either Double Point needles, or long circluar 32" length. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to or during the class.
