First Sweater (Stockholm Slipover) - Guided Knitalong
Knit your very first sweater project with confidence in our First Sweater Guided Knitalong workshop. In this four session workshop, you will be able to knit your sweater in a casual and friendly "knitalong" type setting, with our experienced instructor to help you along the way. We've chosen the pattern Stockholm Slipover, a sleeveless vest with a well-fitted shoulder construction, shaping around the neckline, with the body knit in the round at the underarms. Knit in a medium DK weight yarn, you can choose to knit this project with one strand of DK weight yarn, or two strands - a fingering weight and Silk Mohair held together. For this class, each session is spaced out two weeks apart so that you are given the time needed to complete your project.
The first session (required attendance) will be similar to our Project Prep Basics class- a crash course in everything you need to know before starting a substantial project. The next three sessions will be a more casual setting, where you can work on your project and meet/chat with peers, and get help from the instructor as you need it. While attendance is not required for these sessions, we strongly recommend that you attend in order to gain a full appreciation of the knitalong experience.
