In this 3 hour class you will learn:

- How combining different stitches creates fabric that has a strikingly different physical and visual texture
- How to crochet the following stitches:

- Lemon peel (or Griddle) stitch
- Granny stitch in rows

Two different methods for changing colours

In class, participants will make a sample swatch of fabric in order to learn the above stitches and techniques. In addition, they will receive a written and charted pattern so they can practice and put all of these techniques together by making a cowl.
Participants must be 14 years or older to attend this class. For younger children who wish to learn (11 - 13), please contact us to arrange a private lesson.
Prerequisite: Must be able to comfortably chain, work into a foundation chain, and work single and double crochet stitches. If a participant hasn’t crocheted regularly in the last 5 years, they should take the Beginner Crochet class first as a refresher.
