We're so happy to announce a return to our Annual Fall Knitalong, complete with in-person meetings - details below!! 

For this KAL we're returning to our original motivation for hosting knitalongs: for beginners, dive into your *first knit or crochet garment with us, and for more experienced knitters, choose a hot new garment pattern and challenge yourself  with exciting techniques to freshen up your knitting skills.

We've created two separate bundles in our Ravelry Group page to inspire you. Our First Garment Bundle is perfect for those new to garment knitting, full of patterns that are tried and tested. Our FallKAL2022 Bundle is full of interesting new and classic patterns to get your creative juices flowing. You can of course choose your own pattern, even a shawl if you prefer, as long as it's a minimum of 800yards. 

*Please read through your pattern carefully before casting on. You should be able to understand your pattern and be able to do the skills required on your own. If you need help with your pattern you can book a private lesson (Saturdays) for $15 per half hour.

You must purchase your yarn for the knit-along after September 1st 2022, or during the knit-along until the deadline date, in order to qualify for the prize draw. You must purchase a minimum of 800 yards for your project. If your project does not meet the required yardage, you can still join, but you won’t be able to enter the draw. If you finish your project by the deadline date, your name will enter a draw to win a $60 Handknit Yarn Studio Gift Card! (one entry per qualifying finished project)

Meetings will be held every second Sunday morning 10:30am - 12:30pm for the duration of the knitalong, with a maximum of 12 people per meeting. If we find there are more people joining the meetings than we can seat, we will open meetings on a reservation basis.
