Project Suggestions: Our FREE Tukuwool Sock SOCK pattern!
Tukuwool Sock is a unique Finnish sock yarn. The woolen spun three-ply yarn is twisted tightly but gently to create a light and lively yarn for enjoyable knitting experience. Tukuwool Sock contains a little bit of nylon to give the yarn more durability. The versatile yarn is designed for hand knitting and is well suited for various types of knits such as socks, mittens and more.
Tukuwool uses 100% Finnish wool, mostly Finnsheep with some Finnsheep-Texel crossbreed. Finnish wool has the original, natural hand and scent of the wool. The yarn is spun and dyed in Finland. The shades of Tukuwool Sock are the same as Fingering but nylon gives a darker tone to the Sock base.
For adult size sock you will need two to three skeins and 3-3.5 mm (US 2.5-4) needles. You need approximately 450-600 g of Tukuwool Sock for a women's cardigan depending on your gauge and pattern.
