This pattern was created out of a desire for a light but cozy, luxuriously textured sock. The waffle stitch is a classic easy stitch pattern and the sock is made modern with the saturated high contrast modern colours of Kelbourne Woolens' Perennial sock yarn.

To make this pattern you will need:
- One 100g skein of Perennial
- One 10g skein of Perennial Mini
- 2.25mm needles (DPNs or circular, your preference)

We find that Perennial is slightly lighter than a standard sock weight fingering yarn, so a 2.25mm needle (for small circumference knitting) is ideal, but the squishy texture of waffle stitch is very accommodating- feel free to size up or down a needle size to suit your personal fit preference.
