Brioche 2: Iris Divine Workshop
Want to take your brioche knitting skills to new directions? If you’ve completed our Brioche Stitch Workshop, or you’re comfortable with two colour brioche knitting in the round, then you’re ready to dive into Brioche 2: Iris Divine Workshop!
In this class, we’ll help you get started on Nancy Marchant’s Iris Divine pattern. We introduce you to knitting two colour brioche worked flat, increases and decreases, and reading from a chart. By the end of the 3 hour session, you’ll be well on your way to knitting your first patterned brioche scarf!
The class cost includes the purchase of the Iris Divine pattern sent to your email inbox. Yarn and needles required for the class can be purchased at a 10% discount. Although the original pattern calls for Kidsilk Mohair lace yarn, we strongly recommend choosing a fingering weight option unless you’re familiar and very comfortable with the knitting characteristics of mohair.
Class Prequisite: You must be familiar and very comfortable with knitting and purling straight Brioche stitch in the round. You should be familiar with the Long Tail Cast On method.
