The biggest in the Leizu family, Leizu worsted is a 90% superwash merino / 10% silk blend in a sweater-friendly gauge. The name is inspired by Leizu, a legendary Chinese empress who, according to legend, discovered silk and sericulture when a silk worm’s cocoon fell into her tea. Because it’s a hand dyed yarn, we recommend that you buy enough for your project  - we may not be able to get the same colour, and there are no dye lots.
